Maybe this undertaking was a bit selfish because as a young professional hoping to enter the field of non-profit work, I know that understanding how social media is affecting this work will make me more marketable as a job applicant. The specific examples I give are centered around non-profits focusing on international aid because that is what I am most familiar with but these tactics apply to all non-profits. Social media has changed the way non-profits are able to present themselves.
